History[]
Axel Payne is a friend of Masters and the Subterra member of the Bakugan Elite Core Brawlers. Although he is younger than the other brawlers, he is very powerful and relies on the power of his gates for victory.
Masters met Axel at Baku-Con. They were both in the semi-finals where Masters met Drago. The two met again at the Bakugan Battle League several times. Axel and Chronos once had a Tag Team Brawl against Masters and Phantom, but lost.
